The Tea Story

Explains the geography, history, and culture of tea's journey from its beginning in China into the present. Highlights tea's impact on world events.

Tea Traditions 

Models the methods for making and drinking tea
around the globe. Includes abbreviated examples of the
Japanese and the Chinese tea ceremonies.


Tells the story of tea rooms in American from the 1890's through their demise in the 1950's and into their current rebirth. Explains the tea room's impact on the restaurant trade today.

A Tea Tasting

Provides an opportunity to taste a variety of teas.
Hot tea tasting demonstrates a tea cupping, useful tea ware, step-by-step brewing, and decaffeinating.  Limited to 20 participants.

Cold tea tasting explains bubble tea, the
creation of iced tea, and includes a game of TEAGO. Limited to 24 participants.  TEAGO game prizes provided
